this article is really great about how to attract different birds to your backyard to get them to eat peanuts and birdseed… i love watching the bluejays and even our one little woodpecker come to get the peanuts.. we have up to 4 bluejays at one time or another on our porch… it’s really great for picture taking too.. especially if you can get a close up.. here’s the link to the article :
We went to the Cumberland Mountain State Park in Crossville, TN (my hometown) and we went on an adventure today.. got some wonderful and beautiful photos of the bridge and the waterfall that flows from it.. and there is an old homestead house (link of the history of the houses) Cumberland Homesteads …. and it was quite an adventure for sure.. would i go back.. um yes like thousands of times… so quite and surreal there… beautiful… thank you Lord!

So I’m really excited about this pictures that I captured this week…
- the first one is the nuthatch.. he is such a sweet little bird.. he’s too adorable…
- the second one is the red bellied woodpecker.. been waiting for this picture for like ever! he’s totally adorable!
- and last is the chickadee.. this bird.. he pulls at my heart strings… he has this very distinctive call.. sounds like “Hey Sweetie!” .. totally adorable!

bluejays and such…
We’ve been bird watching & bird feeding at our apartment and we have all kinds of birds.. but this bluejay.. it’s probably my second favorite (with owls being 1st) so here is just a sample of the pictures i’ve gotten.. leave me feedback if you would like to see more pictures like this or anything… God Bless!
